Silicon Carbide Technology
Powered by next generation SiC MOSFET hardware, the machine runs cooler, responds faster and delivers a noticeably steadier arc. Expect improved reliability, tighter arc control and cleaner overall weld quality compared to traditional IGBT systems.
TIG Smart-Set
The easiest way to set up for a TIG weld, simply set your filler material, joint type, tungsten diameter, and material thickness and you’re good to go!
Advanced TIG Programs
Speed up the formation of the weld puddle by applying a synergic pulse program to the beginning of the weld. The initial pulse works to melt the joint edges faster, for quicker puddle formation compared to a standard arc start.
Mixed AC/DC
Combine the cleaning action of AC with the penetration and arc force of DC in a single weld. Mixed AC and DC delivers faster travel speeds, stronger fusion on thicker sections and a more responsive puddle, especially on cold workpieces.
Low Amp Arc Stability
Hold a clean, controlled arc even at just 2 amps. The advanced SiC MOSFET platform keeps the arc stable at ultra low currents, giving you precision control for thin materials, delicate joints and detailed TIG work.
AC and DC Waveform Control
With 12 waveform options available, including AC and DC combinations, you can tailor arc characteristics for different materials, joint types and performance needs.
Advanced Pulse Frequency Control
With pulse frequency capability up to 999 pulses per second in AC and DC, you can tighten the arc, reduce heat input and gain greater stability on thin materials. High speed pulsing sharpens puddle control, improves arc focus and gives cleaner, more consistent bead appearance on both aluminium and steels.
Automatic Cap Shaping
The machine shapes the tungsten to the correct profile for aluminium welding when you press the trigger. This ensures predictable arc starts and cleaner puddle control.
Foot Control Ready
The machine supports both wired and wireless foot controls, giving you hands free amperage adjustment while you weld. This keeps your torch movement steady and reduces cable clutter when using the wireless option.
Smart Fan Technology
The fan runs only when needed, reducing noise, cutting power use and limiting the dust drawn into the machine. This keeps internal components cleaner and helps extend the overall life of the unit.
Advanced MMA Features
Pulse MMA welding helps reduce spatter, improves heat control and allows for an easier removal of slag. It also improves the speed and efficiency of vertical up welds by eliminating the use of the “Christmas Tree” technique, while still maintaining root fusion.
